Directions On foot: 10 minute walk, Exit Crewe Station and turn right. At the 1st roundabout, use pedestrian access along the dual carriage way (B+Q will be on your right). At the 2nd roundabout (750 m) take the 3rd exit onto Electra way. The Ibis Hotel is 200m on your left hand side.

In all four sections: 1st £150, 2nd £100, 3rd £50, & a grading prize £20
Ungraded players may win only half of any prize. The Controllers’ decision is final.
BY ENTERING, PLAYERS AGREE THAT IN THE EVENT OF ANY DISPUTE, THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR'S DECISION IS FINAL.
BYES: A player may claim a half-point bye for any one of the first four rounds, provided it is claimed on the Entry Form. The Congress is registered with the English Chess Federation and all games played will be submitted for grading.
RATE OF PLAY: Fischer time control 1hr and 40 minutes per player with 10seconds added when a move is made.
GRADING: Players latest ECF published grading will be used.Players without a grade must provide full information about best results and any grading previously held. Only players with a current ECF or WCU or SCF grading will be eligible for grading prizes.
ENTRY FEE APPLYING TO ALL FOUR SECTIONS:
Adults: £33:00 (Deduct £7 if a silver and above member of the ECF).
Juniors: £4 discount on the above (below 18 years old on 1st October 2016)
Entries received after the Saturday 8th October will be subject to a £5.00 surcharge.
